Introduction

Our 2nd generation four channel Falco Pro Series DVR has arrived. It offers a more user friendly interface as well as significant advances in the area of remote viewing.

Before You Start

In order to setup remoteview access, we must make some adjustments to the configuration of both your Falco Pro Series DVR and your network. We will first need to obtain an IP address for the DVR from your router. Then, we will configure port forwarding in your router to create a network path that allows for remoteview from outside your network. The DVR needs to be connected directly to the main router. If you have multiple routers chained together, it needs to be connected to the first in line. This is not optional. You will also need to know the username and password for your router. If you do not have these, you may be need to contact your router manufacturer or ISP before starting this process. To determine if you are using the new Falco PRO DVR, verify that you are seeing this screen at system startup:

iPhone Usage

After Remoteview has been set up and is fully functional, you will want to set up viewing functionality for your iPhone. To do this, you will need to download the Aplayer software from the iTunes application store LINK. Install the program and run from the iPhone interface. Click on the settings button (bottom right of the screen). You will want to enter your public IP as well as your Mobile Port (7050), DVR username, and password. Click the BACK button. Click on the PLAY button to connect.


Android Phone Usage

After Remoteview has been set up and is fully functional, you will want to set up viewing functionality for your Android Phone. To do this, you will need to download the IP Cam Viewer software from the application store. Install the program and run from the Android interface. You will want to Choose the DVR Type, enter your public IP address, DVR username, and password.
