Do the cameras have motion sensors on them?

No. Motion activated recording is a property of the DVR, not the cameras. The DVR accomplishes this by detecting the changing of pixels in the video signal, which then causes the DVR to begin recording. So long as the cameras are supplied with active power, they are always transmitting information to the DVR.

All Luxor Direct DVRs support motion activated recording and thus, any camera hooked up to a Luxor DVR will work with motion activated recording.
